RETURN + SHIPPING POLICIES
RETURNS
We want you to love your purchase! If you are not completely satisfied, we gladly accept eligible returns for store credit only within 14 days of delivery or pickup notification.
To be eligible for return, items must be:
- Unwashed
- Unworn
- In original condition with tags attached (if applicable)
- Free from stains, odors, damage, or signs of wear
Items that appear worn, washed, altered, or damaged will not be accepted.
Please Note:
- No refunds will be issued.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- The Chippy Cottage is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed return packages.
Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or store credit:
- Sale items discounted 20% or more
- Swimsuits
- Accessories
- Items marked FINAL SALE at checkout
Returns received outside of our return window may be refused or subject to a 20% restocking fee at The Chippy Cottage’s discretion.
How to Return an Item
Before returning an item, please ensure it qualifies under our return policy or contact us with any questions.

- Order number

Once your return is received, please allow 2–3 business days for processing. Store credit will be added to your account, and a confirmation email will be sent to the email address on file.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancelled orders will be issued as store credit only. Please contact customer service as soon as possible for cancellation requests. Once an order has begun processing or shipping, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
PREORDERS
By placing a preorder with The Chippy Cottage, you acknowledge and agree to the estimated turnaround time (TAT) or arrival timeframe listed at the time of purchase.
Because preorder items are made-to-order or specially reserved, all preorder sales are final.
Store credit or refunds will not be issued unless your preorder exceeds the stated turnaround time (TAT) provided prior to purchase.
Please note that preorder arrival dates are estimated and may occasionally be delayed due to manufacturing, production, shipping, customs, or carrier delays outside of our control.
Preorder + Ready-to-Ship Orders
If your order includes both preorder items and ready-to-ship items, your order will ship together once all preorder items have arrived and are ready to ship.
If you would like your ready-to-ship items shipped sooner, we are happy to send them separately! Simply contact us after placing your order, and we can send a separate shipping invoice for the additional shipment.
Please note: Additional shipping charges will apply for separate shipments.
